I mean, with the help of new technologies, it has been possible that people can steal your data and use it against you. There were many reports about data theft and using that data for blackmailing and terrorism. Now, suppose you are an important personality of the country, and some hackers have access to your devices and steal some valuable data that they can use for the destruction of your country.
Crime and Terrorism
With the advancement of technology, crime has a new face, and that’s cybercrime. Nowadays, people are committing cybercrime and all thanks to the latest technologies. I am not blaming the technology but those who are using this for crimes. Just imagine people can get access to all your information like personal life, confidential data, etc. they can use that data so that can blackmail you and use the data of people of a country so that they can terrorize the country.
No Job Vacancies
I also have suffered from this problem, and I saw my dad was the first one whom I saw who has suffered from this drawback. My dad used to work in a factory where they used to manufacture products. But with the introduction of advanced machines that could do the work of 10 people, my dad had to leave that job. Now, machines can do way better work than us, and that’s why people are installing those machines, and workers are losing their jobs, which is creating an unemployment problem. It’s a fact that the latest technologies are making more and more people jobless. It’s not a big deal now, but in the future, it will have a huge impact on our society, where people will be jobless and won’t find any jobs because machines and AI will do everything.
Anti-Social
The invention of the phone and social media apps was a big revolution in our society. That is because those are created so that people can connect with each other more and can get even closer to their family and friends. But the current situation is showing that people are creating more and more distance among themselves so that they can spend time in the metaverse. That’s why they aren’t engaging in social activities and becoming anti-social. And if it continues, then people in the future won’t be able to communicate with others in the future. And it is the cause of depression for many peoples.
